I'm Chris McDonald, your Hometown
Law Enforcement Professional
for Harris County Constable Pct. 2
As a lifelong resident of Harris County Precinct 2, I have grown up and currently reside in the SouthBelt community. I am a graduate of Dobie High School and San Jacinto College. I have 20 years of law enforcement experience and currently serve the City of Baytown as a Police Lieutenant.
I want the opportunity to serve my friends and neighbors and better this area where I live and grew up, so I am seeking to lead the Precinct 2 Constable's Office into the future. My goals are to ensure prompt response times and professional service. I will accomplish this by:
- streamlining the administration of the office
- increasing the level of training for deputies
- providing better equipment
- working with Justices Risner & Delgado to network computer systems to more efficiently serve warrants & court documents
- maintaining the Contract Deputy program with the Galena Park ISD & South Belt Communities and expanding it to other interested neighborhoods
- seeking qualified Reserve Deputies who wish to serve the community in a volunteer capacity at no cost to tax payers
- coordinating with the Sheriff & Police Chiefs in the Precinct to provide protective patrols
- cooperating with local officials, civic clubs, home owners associations & businesses
- ensuring a balanced budget
"From Precinct 2, For Precinct 2"
